Nicole Soluri - PBWC President and Board Chair
Chief Counsel, California State Lottery
Nicole serves as Chief Counsel to the California State Lottery. Prior to that, she was an attorney with Downey Brand LLP, where she focused on corporate and securities matters. Before joining Downey Brand, Nicole was with the firm Wilson Sonsini Goodrich & Rosati, PC in Palo Alto. In addition to her work with PBWC, Nicole is also on the board of the Sacramento Children's Home. She received a B.A. from Santa Clara University and a J.D. from the UC Davis School of Law. Nicole lives in Sacramento with her husband Patrick, 2 year old son Connor, and rescue dogs Cody and Duncan.
Alexandra Roddy - PBWC Board Vice Chair
SVP, Marketing, Strategy & Technology - Franklin Templeton
Alexandra is a creative, analytical, results-oriented executive who doesn't need to think outside of the box because she doesn't recognize the box to begin with. As SVP of Strategy & Technology for Franklin Templeton, Alexandra leads a global team responsible for defining and executing strategic technology projects in the marketing and sales domains. She is living a sandwich generation reality: supporting her son in college while caring for her elderly mother. Nonetheless, Alexandra finds time to pursue her passions which include dogs, horses, yoga, writing and art.
Shirley Gordon, CPCU, CLU, CHFC and JD - PBWC Board Secretary
Vice President - Operations, State Farm Insurance Companies
Shirley has held numerous operations leadership positions at State Farm Insurance for more than 39 years. She is currently responsible for State Farm California's Underwriting Operations, servicing more than 5 million auto and fire policies. Shirley is a governing board member of the California FAIR Plan, is a board member of the United Way of Kern County, an Executive Leadership Committee Member of Go Red® for Women Kern County, and an Executive Advisory Council Member of Leadership California. She is a past chair of the United Way of the Wine Country, Trustee of Santa Rosa Memorial Hospital, and chair of American Heart Association Go Red® for Women Executive Committee Sonoma County. Shirley earned a business degree from Hampton University, an MBA from Illinois State University, and a Juris Doctorate from the Empire College School of Law. She holds the CPCU, CLU and ChFC designations.
Cheryl A. Cornelius - PBWC Board Treasurer

Cheryl has over 20 years of experience in the Financial Services Industry, working with banks, brokerages, asset management and leasing firms. Currently, Cheryl is responsible for helping clients develop business solutions that leverage IBM; leads IBM's Western Region Women's Council; and mentors several IBM employees. Cheryl is a wife, mother of 2 children and is active in their school's Mothers' Club, sports programs, and Girl Scouts of America.
Jackie Speier - Emerita Board Member and PBWC Founder
Representing the 14th District of California, Congresswoman Speier formerly served as a California State Senator, where she authored groundbreaking legislation in health care, privacy, consumer protection, child welfare, education, and prison reform; and served as Assistant Pro Tem of the State Senate, Chair of the Senate Finance, Banking and Insurance Committee, Chair of the California Legislative Women's Caucus, and others.
Judy Bloom - Emerita Board Member and PBWC Founding President

Judy has served as the District Director for then-Assemblywoman Jackie Speier, Executive Director of Resourceful Women. Director of Employer Services at Jewish Vocational Service and Development Officer/Director of Imprint Giving at the Jewish Community Endowment Fund. Judy retired from full-time employment at the end of 2010 and now enjoys studying Hebrew, traveling, volunteering on community boards, working with flowers, and spending time with her family.
John Kunhart - PBWC Director at Large

A serial entrepreneur, John is a co-founder and managing director of American River Ventures, an SRI venture capital fund located in Sacramento. John has served on the board of many venture financed companies. Prior to founding American River Ventures, John held senior technical and marketing positions with IBM, Tandem, and Boeing Computer Services. He is a graduate of Seattle Pacific University.
Deidra Lieberman - PBWC Director-At-Large

Deidra oversees the company’s sales operations for KGO/KSFO/KNBR/KFOG and KSAN Radio. Deidra received a BA in Broadcast Communication Arts from San Francisco State University. She served on the Board of Directors for the Society of Television and Radio, participated in the Women Inspiring Women in Radio Mildred Carter Mentoring program and is currently on the Executive Committee for the Northern California Broadcasters Association. Deidra was recognized as one of the most influential Women in Bay Area Business by the San Francisco Business Times in 2011 and one of the Most Influential Women in Radio by Radio Ink Magazine in 2012.

#2 market share position. She oversees
the group's worldwide business operations, with a focus on expanding HP's position
as a leader in the networking market.
Bethany holds a bachelor of science from Santa Clara University and an MBA from California State University, Monterey Bay. She was recently named 2014 Women in Manufacturing STEP Awards honoree and Watermark Women Who Have Made Their Mark Award winner.
Gizelle Robinson - PBWC Director at Large

Gizelle has over 28 years of experience in Information Technology. Currently, Gizelle is responsible for the Cost Basis and Portfolio Performance Platform applications and leads globally for development and support of services for Schwab customers. Gizelle is a strong advocate for women and believes the best way to achieve gender partnership is to start young. She majored in Industrial Management Engineering and minored in Chemical Engineering. She believes it is important for girls to get engaged in STEM. She was recently named as one of the 10 2013 Professional Business Women of California Industry Leader Awards.

Cathy has been with Microsoft for over 8 years in various Senior Leadership Roles and is current a Sales Director in the Enterprise Sales Group. Cathy's responsibilities including managing a very large enterprise territory and working strategically with some of the very top and most important customers of Microsoft to accomplish their organizational objectives. Cathy has been an Executive Sales Leader for 20+ years and has held Senior Leadership Roles at Genesys Telecommunications and CompuCom Systems prior to Microsoft. Cathy has an 18 year old son and comes from a family of six herself. In her spare time she enjoys working out at the gym, playing tennis, golfing, cooking and wine tasting.

Senior Administrative Assistant - Abbott Vascular
For the past 15 years, she has been an Executive Assisant with Guidant Corporation and Abbott Vascular (both of these organizations, respectively, were and are leaders in the field in treatment of cardiovascular disease). In 2004, Wanda was the recipient of the PBWC Working Woman Scholarship. With the impetus of this scholarship and her diligence, she graduated, in 2011, with a Baccalaureate of Arts in Communications Studies (Cum Laude) with a minor in Business from San Jose State University.

Senior Vice President, Global Sales - Switchfly
A 20+ year veteran of the Travel, eCommerce, and Technology industries, Cady has spent her career working with marquee global travel companies. She is currently Sr. Vice President of Global Sales at Switchfly and prior to that was Vice President of Partner Marketing at Travelocity. In addition to PBWC, she currently serves on the advisory board for California Polytechnic Institute, and has had previous advisory roles with Vail Resorts and Arizona State University. Cady received a BA from Arizona State University, her Masters from UNLV, and executive certifications from UVA and SMU. Cady lives in Tiburon with her husband and three young sons; where they are avid outdoor enthusiasts.
Kathryn Larson - PBWC Executive Director
Kathryn brings more than 25 years of executive experience to PBWC specializing in Strategy, Marketing and Business Development. She joined PBWC in October of 2012. Prior to joining PBWC, Kathryn served as Senior Vice President, Bank of America, where she led the Western Region Global Wealth Management Insurance Division. Kathryn has held various leadership roles at Wells Fargo, Prudential, and Pacific Life. Kathryn serves on the Board of Marin YMCA and on the Board and Executive Committee of North Bay Children's Center.
