This year, as part of our goal to Connect, Discover and Shine, PBWC introduced new small-group interactive extended session workshops presented in a round-table setting.
SENIOR EXECUTIVE FORUM
Professional BusinessWomen of California and the Forum for Women Entrepreneurs & Executives (FWE&E) presented The Senior Executive Forum: Connecting Experienced Women Leaders. This invitation-only Forum is limited to sixty experienced women leaders who are Presidents, Vice-Presidents, and Executive Officers of major organizations with a maximum of four levels from the CEO, or comparable breadth of responsibilities. The Forum fosters an environment where senior executive women leaders can renew, deepen and accelerate their commitments to create intention, meaning and results in their professional and personal lives.
EXPO MARKETPLACE
The central meeting area of all PBWC Conferences is the Expo Marketplace, which features over a hundred exhibitors and interactive areas. The Expo Marketplace serves as the main gathering place for conference attendees to network, shop, meet the speakers, and gain resources and educational tools. For our exhibitors, it's a great opportunity for sales and exposure to this target group of consumers, while making professional and personal contacts, and fostering the growth and development of women.
YOUNG WOMEN'S SUMMIT
The First Lady’s Young Women’s Summit is presented in cooperation with Girls For a Change & Respect Rx and was hosted by the First Lady of San Francisco, Jennifer Siebel Newsom. The Young Women's Summit helps expose and breakdown gender stereotypes, build self-esteem and empowerment, explore career options, teach valuable communication skills, expose them to positive role models, stress the importance of pursuing higher education, and engage them in one-on-one communication with successful women in business.
