Back in the U.S. after 10-years based in Europe, Melissa Lamson has been a pioneer in Global Diversity and Intercultural Management and has run projects in over 30 countries. She works with governments, non-profits, SMEs, large multinationals, foreign investors, and C-level executives across all industries. Melissa’s clients include; 3M, Blackberry, MTV, OMV, Porsche, and SAP and her work consists of Global Diversity Programs, Leadership Development, Global Talent Management, Intercultural Training, and Post Merger & Acquisition Integration. Her most recent ventures have been to advise foreign investors who want to set-up operations in the Silicon Valley.
Additionally, Melissa has consulted key government officials in South Africa, Luxembourg, Argentina, and Germany on improving international policy relations. She was nominated in 2008 as one of 25 top female entrepreneurs in Europe and served on the advisory boards of elite business associations across in Europe. Melissa teaches regularly in executive MBA programs and consulted the Harvard Medical School on setting up their center for cultural learning. She was among the first female-owned businesses to receive an award from the German Ministry of Cultural Affairs for her work in Diversity.
She has published extensively in the field of Organizational Development, Talent Management, Diversity and Intercultural Communication. Melissa is currently working on a book on leadership in today’s global economy.
